Suspected thugs allegedly block Peter Obi’s convoy from entering Benue
Former governor of Anambra State and presidential candidate of the
Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) for the 2027 general election, Peter Obi, faced setback on Tuesday in Benue State, after suspected thugs allegedly blocked the road, preventing his convoy’s entry into the state.
According to reports, the incident occurred along Boko road as Obi’s convoy tried gaining access into the state.
The mob allegedly wielded sticks and other instruments, barricading the road and preventing Obi’s convoy from going any further.
