Popular Tiktoker Peller allegedly kidnapped
Habeeb Hamzat a popular Tiktoker known professionally as Peller has been allegedly kidnapped by armed men on Tuesday night. Reports say he was on his way home from a local restaurant when the incident occurred.
Based on a viral video on social media, the 20-year-old Tiktoker was live on TikTok when his car was stopped by armed men.
Peller was heard questioning why a gun was pointed at him in the video before he was ordered to step out of his vehicle.
Peller could be heard saying in Nigerian pigin: “What happened? I am coming. Who are all these. What happened? This one is acting like a policeman, holding a gun (peller curses). Calm down. Why are you pointing a gun. Don’t act like that,” followed by a brief struggle before the clip ended.
According to reports, an aid to the Tiktoker who arrived at the scene moments later, confirmed that Peller’s car was found abandoned. “We don’t know who took him,” the aide said.
Netizens remain confused about the development; whether to take the issue seriously or dismiss it as part of an elaborate prank. The video however does not suggest anything jocular.
