Monday Osaigbovo Felicitates Esama @91
The immediate past Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Edo State, Hon. Monday Osaigbovo has facilitated the Esama of Benin Kingdom, Sir. Chief (Dr.) Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion on the occasion of his 91st birthday anniversary.
The former Commissioner who lauded the achievements of the patriarch of the Igbinedion dynasty, said the celebrant is notable for his preternatural disposition towards the common good of mankind, while wishing him longevity and good health.

“Birthday Felicitation to Esama @91
Some are born great, some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrust upon them, so says the immortal words of William Shakespeare. Sir Chief (Dr.) Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion, the Esama of Benin Kingdom has achieved greatness through noble and diverse means.
“As an enigmatic character who has played a unique role on life’s noble stage, assessing him based on Earth’s parameters sometimes poses an enormous challenge, as there exists no doubt about his preternatural nature towards the common good of humanity.
“Renowned for his contributions to education, business and philanthropy in Nigeria and the global stage, he pioneered several initiatives that will etch his name in living memory; being the first private Indigenous airline owner, first private university founder and many other firsts attached to his name.
“Like a troubadour he has traversed the length and breadth of the socio-economic spheres, literarily plotting the skies, charting the seas and mapping the land. He is an achiever.
“On this unique day as he clocks 91, it is my wish and prayer that his children continue to surround his table, as I pray God almighty to grant him longevity, good health and sound mind continually.
