Donald Trump says Kirk’s killer in custody ‘with high degree of certainty’
The US President Donald Trump says authorities have found Charlie Kirk’s killer. “With a high degree of certainty, we have him in custody,” Trump said to news agencies.
He added. “somebody very close to him turned him in.” Trump also added that the suspect’s father was involved in taking him to the police. “The father convinced the son,” he said.
Trump further added that the suspect is between “28 or 29” years of age, though authorities previously said the suspect “appears to be college age.”
A news conference is expected to hold in Utah soon. Update will be given as details unfold.
