Alien ship may attack Earth in Nov 2025, scientists claim
Contact with aliens or extraterrestrials have been a major scientific discourse for decades. The idea that other beings may exist somewhere in both the known and unknown universe has been a subject of scientific debates. Cases have even been made for parallel universes through various scientific theories, where every possible version of humanity exists somewhere in a multi-dimensional universe.
A Bulgarian mystic by the name Baba Vanga had reportedly predicted that humanity would make contact with extraterrestrials in 2025. Recent scientific claims now suggest that humanity may come in contact with aliens sooner than expected, and possibly in a hostile manner.
Scientists have now warned that a mysterious space object the size of Manhattan is approaching Earth. A recent study suggests that the space object may be an alien spacecraft that could possibly launch an attack on our planet Earth, in November 2025.
This warning is contained in a published July 16 report on the preprint server arXiv and cited by the New York Post and South West News Service and also in a blog post by Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb.
The object named 3I/ATLAS, is said to have been first detected on July 1 and racing towards the Sun at over 130,000 miles per hour. The report also says that astronomers confirmed that it originated from outside our solar system. Some observers though suggested that it might be a comet, roughly 15 miles in diameter.
Researchers Avi Loeb, Adam Hibberd, and Adam Crowl have however said in their paper that the said object might not be a natural object at all, but rather a piece of extraterrestrial spy technology in disguise.
Loeb who once asserted that the 2017 object ‘Oumuamua’ could have been an alien reconnaissance probe, has also now posited that the object in question has certain anomalies and unique speed that points to an intelligent design, noting that its trajectory through the solar system presents the space object with the opportunity to secretly deploy surveillance gadgets on planets like Mars, Jupiter and Venus as a result of the proximity it would share with these planets on its arrival.
Loeb also suggest that because the object will vanish from Earth’s view when it reaches its closest point to the sun in November, Earth-based telescopes may be unable to detect it, allowing the aliens deploy their probes secretly. This, according to him, may be a deliberate move to stay hidden and avoid detection. He warned that defensive measures be put in place in case of potential attacks.
Whether this object turns out to be a comet or space craft of cosmic visitors, the scientific world and the public are watching.
The search for extraterrestrial life has been a major scientific expedition in recent years. Though the question that has left many hazy has been: If coming in contact with aliens poses a potential threat to human existence, why search for them?
Though many have disdained the 2025 November ‘visitors’ claim by researchers, a few others seemed genuinely concerned by the development.
