…US carries out new strikes on military targets on Kharg Island
The United States President Donald Trump has warned the Iranian regime of complete obliteration if it refuses to heed his deadline of reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
Trump gave Iran a deadline of 20:00 EDT Tuesday (00:00 GMT / 01:00 BST on Wednesday) to reopen the Strait.
Posting a warning on Truth Social, Trump stated that ” a whole civilization” may end tonight, in reference to the remnants of the theocratic regime, though he was optimistic that something revolutionarily could still take place before his deadline of 20:00 EDT on Tuesday, for Iran to reopen the sea route.
“A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again.
“I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will. However, now that we have Complete and Total Regime Change, where different, smarter, and less radicalized minds prevail, maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen, WHO KNOWS?
“We will find out tonight, one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the World. 47 years of extortion, corruption, and death, will finally end. God Bless the Great People of Iran!”
Meanwhile The US has carried out new strikes on military targets on Kharg Island, Iran’s key oil export terminal, though according to reports no oil infrastructure was targeted.
Iranian state media also reported that a bridge in Kashan was struck. This is coming hours after Israel warned Iranians not to take trains for the sake of their security.
