An Indianna woman Nathalie Rose Jones, has been arrested for threatening to killĀ the United StatesĀ President Donald Trump on social media.
Court documents revealed that U.S. Secret Service agents identified Instagram user ānath.jones,ā after she allegedly posted threats against the President.
According to authorities, Jones used both Instagram and Facebook to call for President Trumpās removal, accused him of being a terrorist and a dictator, and blamed him for Covid-19 deaths.
A press release from the U.S. Attorneyās Office on August 18, 2025, said that Jones posted graphic threats on Facebook and Instagram and a comment which read: āI am willing to sacrificially kill this POTUS by disembowelling him and cutting out his trachea with Liz Cheney and all The Affirmation present.ā
An investigation by the U.S. Secret Service identified Jones as the author of the said post. When she was interviewed by agents on August 15, she restated her claims, saying that she had a ābladed object to avenge all the lives lost during the COVID-19 pandemic.ā
After the White House protest on August 16 which she partook in, she admitted again in another interview to making threats the previous day but denied any present desire to harm the President.
50-year-old Jones has now been charged on multiple counts which include threatening the life of the President and transmitting interstate communications containing threats to kidnap or injure another person.
According to U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro, āThreatening the life of the President is one of the most serious crimes and one that will be met with swift and unwavering prosecution. Make no mistake, justice will be served.ā
