AFCON: Super Eagles beat Algeria 2-0, to face Morocco in semi-finals
The Super Eagles of Nigeria on Saturday recorded a 2-0 victory over the Desert Foxes of Algeria during their quarter-final clash in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations.
The Nigerian side dominated the Desert Foxes for most of the first half, though they were unable to find the back of the net.
Victor Osimhen secured a goal in the second half with a header, before setting up Akor Adams for the second goal.
The three-time champions have now booked a spot in the semi-finals where they will face the host Morocco for a place in the final.
