Jarvis threatens Peller with legal action over money laundering accusation
Amadou Elizabeth, popularly known as Jadrolita or Jarvis, has threatened to take legal action against Hamzat Habeeb, popularly called Peller, over the latter’s money laundering allegations leveled against her.
This was contained in a Sunday statement by the management of Jarvis, Aiso Entertainment, through its Instagram handle #aisohub, describing the allegation as false, defamatory and damaging to her reputation.
āThe management of Jadrolita, alongside Jadrolita herself, unequivocally and categorically refutes this egregious claim in its entirety,ā the statement read in part.
It said that the accusations were āpatently false and malicious,ā stating that Jarvis had never gotten involved in any illegal financial activity and ānever engaged in any form of illicit financial conductā, while demanding a public apology within 48 hours from Peller.
It said: āWe hereby demand that Peller and his management issue an immediate, unconditional, and publicly disseminated apology to Jadrolita and her team,ā noting that the allegation was nothing short of reputational sabotage and would not be ignored, and warning that failure to retract the statement would lead to legal consequences.
Peller had claimed recently during a TikTok livestream that money laundering takes place on the platform through the gifting system, and implied Jarvisā involvement in the practice.
Peller who referenced a supporterās request for a 50:50 share of funds generated through TikTok gifting, which he declined, as an example of money laundering, later cleared the air on the subject alongside Jarvis, after the duo seemed to have made up.
