Pictorial: Davido visits French President Macron
David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, on Thursday, met with French President Emmanuel Macron, stirring excitement among fans and netizens.
The Afrobeats star shared photos of his meeting with the French President on his X handle (formerly Twitter), with a caption that read: “It was an honour meeting #EmmanuelMacron and sharing our visions for a better world.”
Though no specific details of their discussions were disclosed in the post, many applauded the meeting as a cross-cultural diplomatic outing.
Macron had in 2018 visited the historic Afrika Shrine, home of Fela Anikulapo Kuti, the late Afrobeats legend.
Lagos State also recently played host to several innovations across digital fashion, animation, and immersive technologies, amongst others, under the auspices of Creation African Forum, an initiative of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.
