Trump and Starmer sign tech deal
The United States President Donald Trump on his second day of state visit to the UKÂ is currently meeting with the British Prime Minister Keir Starmer at his Chequers country residence with a press conference scheduled for 2:20 p.m. (1320 GMT).
The meeting focuses on both global and national affairs as Trump and Starmer just signed a “technology prosperity deal”.
Trump praised the “unbreakable bond” with the UK stating that the two countries will co-operate to “dominate” the future of AI.
The UK government previously said it has secured £150bn worth of US investment which it hopes will create 7,600 jobs
